Allison Adams
Registered Acupuncturist
Allison Adams is a registered acupuncturist with a deep passion for supporting women’s health. Her journey into acupuncture began with her own personal experience – seeking acupuncture for pain during pregnancy and then labor induction when her daughter was 17 days past due.
The profound impact acupuncture had on her mind and body, inspired Allison to study Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and dedicate herself to helping other women navigate their health with natural, holistic care.
Allison believes the true medicine behind acupuncture is its ability to balance the nervous system and thus allow the body and mind to rest, relax and heal. She approaches each treatment with the intent of lowering patients’ stress and thereby creating an optimal environment for hormonal balance, improved circulation and overall reproductive health.
When Allison’s not practicing acupuncture she enjoys walks with her dog down by the lake, exercising, traveling and good food. She is the mother of two accomplished adult children, a dog and a cat.

Melanie Powell
Acupuncturist and Herbalist
Melanie holds a full TCMP license as an Acupuncturist and Herbalist, after graduating with honors from the Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She has been a keen advocate of this medicine for almost a decade and brings a wealth of career experience.
Melanie has taken courses on channel diagnosis as well as treating anxiety and depression.
Melanie’s priority is returning balance or homeostasis for each patient during treatments and also with diet and lifestyle recommendations that can be incorporated into daily life. Her keen interest in fertility and women’s health emerged as she sought to support patients as they progressed thru the natural cycles of life.
With so many treatment alternatives available for women’s issues, one of her goals is to educate patients as Chinese Medicine is very effective on its own, and also in tandem with Western medicine. She would like to welcome and invite patients to take an active part in their own health legacy and would be honored to be part of your healing therapy.
